After more than 20 years of development, the HVLS fan, whose whole name is High-Volume, Low-Speed ceiling fan, is now becoming more and more known to the public. If you do not like HVLS very much or find it difficult to remember, you can also call it LDCF, Large Diameter Ceiling Fan.

HVLS is an ultra-large variable frequency controlled fan with large air volume and low rotation speed (the rotation speed is less than 100 rpm). Large HVLS fans have the characteristics of large air volume, maintenance-free, energy-saving, environmental protection, stable performance, long service life, wide coverage area, etc. The airflow is conical from top to bottom and pushes toward the ground, flows in a horizontal direction to the ground, and encounters side barriers or proximity. After the horizontal airflow of the fan is pushed up to the roof, it can achieve effective all-around overall ventilation and effective cooling of personnel in tall spaces. It can also effectively cool down unenclosed spaces with low environmental requirements.

Due to the above advantages, HVLS ceiling fans could be widely used in high and large spaces such as industrial plants, logistics storage, airports, exhibition halls, supermarkets, churches, etc., as the preferred solution for space ventilation and personnel cooling.

In terms of the basic principles and functions of HVLS fans, our GX HVLS fans have undergone several generations of evolution and development, giving our GX HVLS fans their unique advantages. We subdivide HVLS fans into three categories, traditional geared HVLS fans, permanent magnet gearless HVLS fans, and small commercial HVLS fans. No matter which kind of series, we pay great attention to the details and safety of the HVLS fans. Let us briefly introduce you from top to bottom of GX HVLS fans.

1) Mounting structure: Different building structures have different installation structures, such as steel structures, concrete structures, spherical grid structures, and so on. The most common is the H-shaped steel structure. The anti-skid groove design and split pin lock nut prevent the steel beam clamping device from sliding and falling off without drilling or welding.
2) Universal joint: Our specially designed universal joint can reduce the torque transmitted to the building like a human joint.
3) fan blades: We adopted six fan blade design made of high-performance imported American aerospace aluminum alloy. In addition, we adopted a combination of split reinforcement and full reinforcement on the fan blades. The split and full reinforcement, taking into account the strength and flexibility of the fan blade, can effectively release the reaction force generated by the centrifugal force and ensure the strength of the fan blade.
4) Connection way for hub and fan blades: Our plug-in makes the plug-in and the internal fan blade cross-section contact, the blade wear is relatively low, and the force is more uniform.
5) Steel wire protection: Steel wire is used in different places to protect HVLS fans. The first is to install a steel wire safety rope between the mounting bracket and the steel beam to prevent accidental shedding; the second is to pull the fan with a wire rope to prevent the fan from shaking due to external forces.

The three series of HVLS fans have not only common advantages but also different ranges of use.
For traditional geared HVLS fans, we adopt imported motors. This is the oldest HVLS fan series and has been used for more than ten years. The longest fan diameter is 7.3m/24ft. It is more suitable for industrial factories and warehouses with large and tall spaces. And they are used in places where there is no high demand for noise. Traditional geared HVLS fans have high-cost performance.
While PMSM (Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Motor) HVLS fans, which also have a 7.3m diameter, can also be used for large factories and warehouses like traditional geared HVLS fans as long as people have more spending budget. PMSM technology is still a new technology, and we develop our motors. At the same time, PMSM HVLS fans can be applied to places where a quiet environment is desired, such as churches, mosques, halls, dairy farms, etc. As the PMSM HVLS fan has no gear, it can also be used for places that have smaller installation space. As a commercial HVLS fan is small and exquisite, it is quite suitable for commercial places, like supermarkets, gyms, canteens, etc. It is silent for commercial gearless HVLS fans and smaller installing spaces like PMSM HVLS fans. Its largest fan diameter of it is 5.3m/17ft. Commercial HVLS fans could be used for places where installing height is lower than 6m.
